ABOUT THE ROLE
At Center Parcs, we're looking for a strategic and people-focused Leadership Capability Manager to design and deliver impactful development solutions that grow confident, capable managers and future-ready leaders.
This is a key role in shaping our management and leadership development offer, with responsibility for supporting talent across all levels - from aspiring managers to experienced leaders. You'll take a blended, pragmatic approach - working with both internal teams and external providers to deliver relevant, inclusive and high-impact development experiences.
You play a crucial role in supporting our leadership pipeline, enabling us to meet both current and future business needs. This includes contributing to talent development projects that drive performance and potential across the organisation.
Based at our welcoming Forest House office, where we'd love to see you at least a couple of days each week. The rest of the time, you'll be out exploring our different villages collaborating with the fantastic people who make everything happen or working remotely.
As our Leadership Capability Manager you'll be involved in:
- Designing and delivering development solutions for managers and leaders at all levels, from aspiring and first-time managers to senior leadership, ensuring they're practical, inclusive and aligned with our Center Parcs values
- Supporting the development of our management and leadership pipeline, ensuring we're identifying and preparing future leaders in line with long-term workforce and succession needs
- Taking a blended learning approach, including the design of internal programmes, facilitation of workshops, and working with trusted external providers to deliver tailored solutions where needed
- Establishing and growing internal coaching and mentoring networks, enabling peer-to-peer development, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional learning
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider Talent Development team to contribute to cross-functional projects that support broader people priorities and strategic goals
- Partnering with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring development activity is grounded in business realities and is supporting real performance challenges and opportunities
- Staying up to date with the latest thinking in leadership development, bringing fresh ideas and insight into our offer and continuously improving what we do
- Contributing to wider learning or talent development projects, based on strategic priorities and emerging business challenges
- Overseeing a team of three Talent and Performance Partners - supporting performance, providing guidance, and acting as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive issues
We'd love to hear from you if you...
- Bring experience in designing and delivering leadership or management development programmes, ideally within a mid-sized to large organisation
- Have experience in supporting leadership pipelines and succession strategies, aligning development activity to long-term talent needs
- Have worked with or managed external providers and learning partners, ensuring solutions are high-quality, cost-effective, and well-integrated
- Have experience building or supporting coaching and mentoring frameworks, either formally or informally, to enhance peer-led learning
- Are a confident facilitator and communicator, able to influence at all levels and tailor development to diverse leadership audiences
- Are collaborative by nature and thrive in cross-functional work, contributing flexibly to evolving business priorities and team goals
- Stay informed on emerging trends in leadership and management development, and bring ideas for innovation, relevance, and inclusion
