LEISURE BOOKINGS ADVISOR / ACTIVITY HOST | £12.37 per hour

Join the fun at Whinfell Forest as a Leisure Bookings Advisor / Activity Host where you’ll support the Indoor Activities management team in ensuring the smooth running of Sports and Leisure facilities including The Entertainment Hive - Whinfell Forest’s newest social-competitive experience!

We’re looking for vibrant, confident, and friendly individuals who love creating memorable moments. Join The Entertainment Hive team and help bring this brand-new indoor playground to life when it opens soon at Whinfell Forest.

As an Activity Host, you’ll be at the heart of the action, coordinating enjoyable and energetic sessions across a range of interactive experiences including:

  • Puttify – our twist on crazy golf
  • Interactive Darts – precision meets play
  • Interactive Shuffleboard – slide into the fun
  • Escape the Forest – a thrilling escape room adventure

You’ll create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, guiding guests through each activity with professionalism and flair. Whether it’s a family outing, a group celebration, or a competitive showdown, you’ll make sure every visit is memorable.

HOURS OF WORK

We have varying contracts from 32 to 128 hours per 4-week period available  on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 8.30am and 11.30pm, including weekends.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues
  • IT literate

Desirable requirements:

  • A sports and leisure background
  • Professional qualification in recreation / leisure / tourism
