SENIOR RESEARCH & INSIGHT MANAGER | Up to £57,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus 18% bonus scheme
Hybrid role with 2 days office-based, home-working and occasional travel including some overnight stays.

We're looking for a Senior Research & Insight Manager to lead and elevate our Research & Insight function, ensuring guest perspectives shape our brand, product and business strategy. This is a key role driving change and innovation in how we understand and respond to guest needs.
About the Role:
Since its creation in 2022, this role has become a trusted source of knowledge across the business. In this role you will:
- Deliver a high level of service to Marketing and wider business stakeholders during periods of increased demand
- Expand the reach of insights across new stakeholder groups and integrate findings with other data sources for a complete guest view
- Improve the visual impact and accessibility of research deliverables with analytics support
- Extend research expertise into new areas, including in-the-moment feedback and employee opinions
- Lead the rollout and updates of premium guest segmentation, ensuring actionable insights across all business areas
- Manage procurement and implementation of a Voice of the Guest programme to support Guest Experience, Product Development and more
- Champion cost-effective solutions through smart procurement or in-house approaches
- Manage and develop junior team members to deliver against strategic objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop research briefs and provide consultancy to colleagues
- Procure and manage external research services where required
- Analyse, interpret and report findings to senior managers, supporting strategic and tactical decisions
- Maintain a research library and ongoing brand research plan
- Collaborate with agencies, freelancers and internal teams to enhance guest experience, shape products and drive bookings
About You
You'll be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into actionable insights. You'll have:
- Proven experience in market research and insight roles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with segmentation, data integration and visual storytelling
- Leadership experience, including managing and developing team members

HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.
Please note, this role will be hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days home-working. There will also be occasional travel along with some overnight stays.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Degree in relevant discipline e.g. business, research, psychology
- Strong report-writing skills and the ability to create a story independently
- Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodology and reporting
- Experience working in an environment with a lot of pace, responsive to ever-changing client needs, iterative working and juggling multiple responsibilities at once
- Significant experience working in either an in-house research team or agency side
- Experience of understanding customers, their needs and using that insight to shape decisions within a business
- Experience with customer satisfaction and brand tracking surveys
- Positive and enthusiastic
- Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team
