SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE
£29,400 per annum
Hybrid role with office, home-working and regular visits to our villages throughout the UK and Ireland.
As Social Media Executive, you’ll play a key role in bringing the Center Parcs UK and Ireland story to life online. Working closely with the Social Media Manager, you’ll help plan, create and deliver engaging content across our social channels, connecting with audiences and showcasing the unique experiences our villages offer.
From spotting the latest trends to crafting creative, scroll-stopping content, you’ll help keep our social presence fresh, relevant and engaging. You’ll also support the management of our online community, ensuring conversations are positive, authentic and aligned with our brand voice across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Collaborating with teams across PR, Brand Marketing and Digital, you’ll contribute to wider campaigns that build brand awareness, drive engagement and strengthen our connection with our audience. Regular visits to our villages will give you the chance to capture inspiring content first-hand and tell the authentic Center Parcs story.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.
Please note, this role will be hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days home-working. Regular travel to our villages throughout the UK and Ireland will be required along with some overnight stays.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Full UK Driving License
- Evidence of ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
- Strong digital copywriting, communication and literacy skills
- Excellent eye for detail, grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Good knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media channels as well as their best practices
- Previous direct experience in a similar social media role
- Experience working with creative agencies, copywriters and designers
- Experience of implementing social media campaigns and how to evaluate them
- Highly motivated & passionate about brand and content output
- Great organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude
Desirable requirements:
- Experience in acting as the brand guardian in a business environment
