Group Technical Maintenance Manager – Central Buildings
£80,000 per annum | plus 18% bonus | Company Car | PMI
Hybrid role with office, mix of home-working and travel to our villages based in the UK and Ireland will be required.
At Center Parcs, our people are our greatest asset, and we’re looking for an experienced operational leader to play a pivotal role in how our villages are maintained, protected, and operated. Working at significant scale and complexity, this role helps ensure our villages remain safe, compliant, and fully operational for thousands of guests and colleagues every week.
This opportunity will allow you to influence the technical performance of a unique, multifaceted leisure environment, with individual villages employing up to 2,000 colleagues and Center Parcs as a whole supporting over 10,000 people across the UK and Ireland.
As Group Technical Maintenance Manager, you’ll act as the principal point of contact for village‑based Central Buildings Asset Managers on all technical matters. You’ll be accountable for setting, maintaining, and protecting high standards across building assets, infrastructure, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, shaping the strategic approach to both planned and reactive maintenance across the estate.
You’ll also ensure that technical capital and revenue projects are delivered effectively, supporting business continuity and operational resilience while minimising impact to the guest experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Hands‑on senior leadership - Developing teams and driving strong collaboration between village operations, technical services, and the Development Mechanical & Electrical teams.
- Leading Technical Best Practice Across Village Asset Management – Define, develop, and maintain group wide standards for building assets, infrastructure, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, acting as the single point of contact for village Central Buildings Asset Managers and ensuring best practice is consistently captured and shared across the estate.
- Village Capital & Operating Budget Leadership - Lead the village annual capital replacement and operating budget forecasting to ensure a standard budget proposal is obtained from all villages.
- Business Continuity & Incident Leadership - Act as the lead point of escalation for the Head of Technical Services and Assets, supporting the management of incidents impacting business continuity across villages.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in hard Facilities Management within large‑scale, complex, multi‑site environments, such as retail, leisure, or hospitality.
- A qualification to at least HNC level in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or Facilities Management, or equivalent experience gained within a large‑scale retail, leisure, or hospitality environment.
- Experience of asset management and planned maintenance systems and protocols.
- Mechanical and Electrical systems, supported by relevant engineering experience.
Our values:
Each colleague at Center Parcs is involved in building better worlds for our guests, colleagues, communities and our environment.
Contributing to our purpose means living out our values: We care, We're brave, We're determined and We're naturally us.
