Wastewater Treatment Works Engineer

We are looking for a Wastewater Treatment Works Engineer to join our Technical Services team. You will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, resolving issues promptly and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Conduct inspections and identify potential defects or concerns
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on wastewater treatment systems
- Assist with general technical tasks as directed by Technical Services management

Your working hours
- Full-time contract, shifts typically fall between 6:30am and 4:00pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes early mornings and evenings
About you
- Previous experience working in the wastewater industry
- Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
- Knowledge of British Water 1 and 2, SHEA Water, confined space and ATEX and DSEAR awareness
- Communicates well and works effectively under pressure and independently
- An Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing qualification is desirable but not essential
