Laundry Assistant - Housekeeping

Elveden Forest | £12.87 per hour

Help keep the forest feeling fresh

Join our team as a Laundry Assistant and help maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring all laundering tasks are completed efficiently while supporting the smooth operation of the department.

What you'll be doing

  • Wash, dry and fold all laundry items to company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the laundry area
  • Handle guest service washes with care and accuracy
  • Assist with general departmental duties as required

Your working hours

  • Part-time, permanent and fixed-term (until January 2027) contracts
  • You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 120 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
  • This role includes early mornings, evenings, alternate weekends and bank holidays 

About you

  • Full driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months with ability to drive a van
  • Good communication skills 
  • Good levels of literacy 
  • Friendly and approachable 
  • Organised and proactive
