Be the difference between guests experiencing a good break and a great break at Center Parcs.

The Guest Services team handle the check-in of around 4,000 guests twice a week at each village and are the key point of contact for guest queries, concerns and issues at any time of day or year. Each Guest Services team is integral to delivering an experience that will exceed guests’ expectations, from the moment they drive into Center Parcs, until the moment they leave.

DRIVER - GUEST SERVICES | £12.37 per hour

In this role you will work closely with Guest Services and Security colleagues to provide a smooth, professional arrival and departure service for our guests. You will be responsible for meeting and transferring guests and their luggage to and from Flitwick train station to their Center Parcs accommodation.

Excellent customer service skills are required as you will be required to greet guests in a polite and cheerful manner and to take every opportunity to enhance their stay with us.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy, clean and tidy and that all on board facilities and equipment is in good working order
  • Ensuring that driving hours are recorded on the Drivers Weekly Record Sheet

Please note that this role will involve heavy lifting as you will be required to assist our guests with their luggage.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to apply for disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB). This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 80 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

Shifts will fall between 8am and 9pm, working 10 hour shifts. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
  • Socially confident with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or environment
  • Have a motivational and flexible approach towards colleagues and team
  • Friendly, genuine, and warm towards guests and colleagues

Desirable requirements:

  • Customer service experience
